Candela
With a long production history of copper, gold and molybdenum concentrates, Candela lies within the Monclova-Candela Intrusive Belt. The mine site is characterized by a predominantly dioritic intrusion and a cylindrical pipe-shaped breccia that hosts copper, gold and molybdenum mineralization. The intrusion itself may host porphyry-style mineralization and a large alteration halo in the adjacent sedimentary rock have potential for Skarn-type mineralization.
